About the Event

Speaker: Jeremy Gibson P’28, Murray H. Goodman Dean of Athletics

Join us at the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sendoff, a cherished tradition that marks the beginning of incoming students’ and families’ Lehigh journeys. This special gathering brings together incoming students and families, current students and families, and alumni to celebrate, connect, and build community before classes begin on South Mountain.

New students and families have the opportunity to meet classmates, gain valuable insights, and start forming meaningful connections. Current families and students can share advice and experiences to help ease the transition. Alumni play an important role in welcoming the newest Mountain Hawks and demonstrating the strength of the lifelong Lehigh network.

Join us as we celebrate and send off the newest members of the Lehigh family.

If you are a commuter or transfer student or family member, join the office of first-year experience at the Commuter Student Pre-Sendoff Reception at 5:15 p.m. in the Clayton University Center Living Room (UC 106). This event will be an opportunity to enjoy light refreshments, connect with fellow commuter students, and learn about resources and support for commuters at Lehigh.
