Soaring Together Webinar Panel: International Day of Obstetrics & Gynecology
Join Lehigh alumnae for a special Soaring Together webinar in recognition of International Day of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This engaging panel will bring together accomplished Lehigh alumnae working across the field of women’s health to share their experiences, perspectives, and insights on the evolving landscape of obstetrics and gynecology.
The panel will feature Hannah Anastasio ’08, Olga Argeros ’01, and Holli Warholic ’01, all Lehigh alumnae who have built careers in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The conversation will be moderated by Joanna Mishtal, professor and chair of the department of population health in Lehigh University’s College of Health.
Hear firsthand about their career journeys, the opportunities and challenges shaping the field, and the impact they are making in the lives of women and families. Whether you are a health care professional, considering a career in medicine, or simply interested in learning from fellow Lehigh alumnae, this conversation promises to be an inspiring opportunity to connect and learn.

Joanna Mishtal Ph.D. is a professor and chair in the department of population health at Lehigh University, College of Health. Her research focuses on reproductive health, rights, and policies through the lens of social justice in a variety of geopolitical settings in Europe and the United States.
She received her doctorate in medical anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, after which she completed the Charlotte Ellertson Postdoctoral Fellowship at Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health. Her work has been funded by the Fulbright Fellowship, the European Research Council, and the World Health Organization.
Her current work with a research team at Lehigh explores the impact of contraceptive misinformation on young women’s birth control choices.
Hannah Anastasio ’08 M.D. is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist and specialist in maternal-fetal medicine at St. Luke's University Health Network.
She graduated from Lehigh University in 2008 with a B.A. in biology and philosophy. Anastasio attended medical school at Georgetown University and completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine in 2019 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Her passion lies in providing the best clinical care to patients, especially those with multiple gestations and congenital anomalies (birth defects).
Olga Argeros ’01 M.D. and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who serves as the director of education at SBH Health System in the Bronx, New York.
She is also an affiliate assistant professor and the OBGYN clerkship director at CUNY School of Medicine. Argeros received her B.A. from Lehigh University in 2001 with majors in behavioral neuroscience and religion studies.
She received her M.D. from Temple University in 2005 and completed her residency in OBGYN in 2009 at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson.
Holli Warholic ’01 M.D. earned her B.S. degree in biochemistry with a minor in women’s studies from Lehigh University. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 2005 and completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network from 2005–2009.
After practicing in private practice from 2009–2013, Warholic founded St. Luke’s Riverside Women’s Healthcare in 2013. What began as a vision has grown into a practice with five female physicians and three physician assistants that has welcomed more than 5,000 babies into the world. She continues to practice as a general OB/GYN at Riverside, providing prenatal care for routine and high risk pregnancies, minimally invasive GYN surgeries, and care of women in every stage of life.
In addition to her clinical work, Warholic serves as the resident wellness liaison and facilitates the Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group - St. Luke’s Chapter, which are deeply meaningful parts of her work.
Warholic lives in Allentown with her husband, Dennis ’03, and their children, Dylan (17) and Lylah (15), four cats, and their Golden Retriever puppy, Riley.
