About the Event

Rates of anxiety among children and teens have been on the rise. In this talk, Seth Laracy will discuss some of the reasons for this trend. While many of the societal factors that contribute to increased anxiety among our youth are beyond our immediate control, Laracy will focus on the things that adults can do to reduce anxiety among the children and teens in their lives. This talk will be most beneficial for parents, educators, or anyone who cares for children.

Participants can expect to learn:

  • The processes through which youth become anxious
  • The things we can do to disrupt these processes
  • How we can ultimately help our kids feel more comfortable in the world around them

Cost: Free to attend
